After Sentio (2022) and IDEM (2024), Martin Garrix releases his long awaited new club EP, Origo!
Over the past few months, he’s tested a wave of unreleased tracks during his live shows—including long-anticipated collaborations with Armin van Buuren, Arcando, and more, sparking excitement among fans eager for official high-quality versions. Rather than let these festival IDs live only in livestreams or bootlegs, Garrix chose to bring them together in a cohesive new club project tailor-made for his core audience.
But that’s not all: a full-length, pop-leaning album is also in the works for 2026. According to Garrix, the shortlist currently includes around 50 tracks, with a final selection of about 15 songs. Some are already familiar or will be released in the coming months, while others will be completely new. While the club EP is designed for longtime fans of his energetic, progressive sound, the album promises a broader, radio-friendly direction, blending festival anthems with crossover potential.
The Garrix Release Model
From the early stages of his career, Garrix has favored a streaming-focused release strategy, prioritizing standalone singles over the traditional album-first model used by many artists. This flexible approach allows him to release music more spontaneously, without being bound to a rigid schedule.
Physical CDs have been rare in his discography, limited to early releases like Animals, Break Through the Silence, and his debut EP Gold Skies (2014). He’s also released a few steaming only EPs: Seven (2016), Bylaw (2018), Sentio (2022) and IDEM (2024). His collaborative project AREA21 (Greatest Hits Vol. 1) was an exception, receiving a physical release (both CD and vinyl).
In addition, Sony Music issued compilation CDs for the Asian market, including The Martin Garrix Collection (2017, Japan only), a Deluxe edition in 2018, and The Martin Garrix Experience (2019, Japan exclusive). These rare physical editions are a true delight for fans.
A cohesive arc
The trilogy of EPs, Sentio (2022), IDEM (2024), and Origo (2025), carries a symbolic meaning that reflects Garrix’s journey.
Sentio, Latin for “I feel”, marked a reconnection with emotions and live crowds after the pandemic.
IDEM, meaning “the same”, expressed loyalty to his sound and identity.
Origo, Latin for “origin”, brings it full circle, returning to the roots of club music while pointing to a new creative chapter.
Each release spotlighted long-awaited live IDs, from Carry You to Reboot or Breakaway, Far from being just DJ tools, these songs reflect Garrix’s vision of dance music, melodic, uplifting, and deeply engaging.
With Origo as the final act in this club-driven arc, Garrix is closing one chapter while already shaping the next.
ORIGO is made of 8 titles, including Ain't Letting You Down, which was premiered during his Red Rocks show on October 22nd, 2025.
